Who we are

Anwani – Address Code (عنواني) is published by Codivax on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The app, website, Telegram bot, supported AI and MCP integrations, and other Anwani services are part of the Anwani digital addressing platform. Anwani gives physical locations a permanent 9-digit address code that can be used to identify, manage, and share an address.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use Anwani, we may collect or process the following information:

Account information

• Sign-in and authentication information processed through Firebase Authentication (for example Google sign-in or email and password, depending on the method you choose).

Address information

• Geographic coordinates of the location you select when creating an address.
• Building or location name, if provided.
• Floor or other address details, if provided.
• Description or notes, if provided.
• Phone number, if provided.
• Photos of a building or location, if provided.

Location

• Anwani may use your device's location services when you choose to use your current location or select a location on the map to create an address.
• Anwani does not continuously access your location in the background.

Camera and photo library

• Camera or photo-library access may be requested when you choose to add a photo to an address.
• Photos are uploaded to our cloud storage when you choose to save them as part of an address.

Technical information

• We may process limited technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service, such as app version, device or operating-system information, and error or crash information where applicable.

We do not intentionally collect information that is not necessary for the operation of the service or for the features you choose to use.

How we use your data

We use the information described above to:

• Create and manage your Anwani account.
• Create, store, and manage your address codes.
• Save and display the address information associated with your codes.
• Allow you to look up an address using an Anwani code.
• Allow you to share an address code and related address information.
• Open map and directions links and provide other features tied to your address codes.
• Provide Anwani functionality through supported channels such as the Anwani app, website, Telegram bot, and supported AI or MCP integrations.
• Protect the service against misuse and unauthorized access.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, security, and reliability of Anwani.
• Respond to support requests and requests concerning your data.

We process personal data only for legitimate and stated purposes and seek to limit the information processed to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Address codes and public information

An Anwani address code is a permanent 9-digit code associated with a physical location.

Depending on the information you provide and the features you use, an address code may provide access to address information through the Anwani website, app, Telegram bot, supported MCP integrations, or other Anwani services.

When you share an Anwani code, people who have access to that code may be able to view the address information made available through the code.

Your account email address and authentication credentials are not displayed as part of the public address code.

If additional protection, such as a PIN, is enabled for an address, the protected information may require the applicable protection before it can be accessed.

You should only share your Anwani code and any associated access information with people or organizations you trust.

Telegram and AI/MCP services

Anwani may provide access to its services through Telegram and supported AI or MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.

When you use Anwani through these channels, information that you provide or request through the service may be processed in order to perform the requested Anwani operation, such as creating, retrieving, updating, or sharing an address code.

Depending on the channel you use, the relevant service provider may process information necessary to deliver that interaction.

Anwani does not intentionally provide your account password to Telegram, AI services, or MCP clients.

When using third-party platforms or AI services to access Anwani, their own privacy policies and terms may also apply to information processed by those platforms.

Data sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal data.

Anwani uses third-party service providers that are necessary to operate the platform. These may include:

• Google Firebase for authentication, database services, cloud storage, and related infrastructure.
• Telegram when you choose to use the Anwani Telegram bot or Telegram-based functionality.
• AI or MCP service providers when you choose to access Anwani through a supported AI application, MCP client, or related integration.
• Other infrastructure or service providers that may be required to operate, secure, maintain, or improve Anwani.

These service providers may process or store data on our behalf and may process data in countries other than the country in which you live.

We do not authorize third parties to use your personal data for their own unrelated purposes.

Where third-party services are used, we seek to use appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational measures to protect the data processed through those services.

International data processing

Because Anwani relies on cloud, messaging, AI, and infrastructure providers, personal data may be processed or stored outside your country of residence.

Where personal data is transferred or processed across national borders, Anwani seeks to apply appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable data-protection requirements.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

Access to account and address information is controlled through the systems and permissions used to operate Anwani.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid sharing sensitive information through address descriptions, photos, notes, or other optional fields.

Data retention

We retain account and address information for as long as necessary to provide the Anwani service and maintain the addresses associated with your account.

You may delete addresses through the available Anwani features and may request deletion of your account.

When data is deleted, it may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or other systems where necessary for security, technical, or legal reasons before it is permanently removed or otherwise handled according to applicable requirements.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Request access to personal data associated with your account.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Edit your address information through Anwani where the relevant feature is available.
• Delete addresses or request deletion of your account.
• Ask questions about how your personal data is processed.

Your responsibility when sharing an address

Anwani is designed to make physical addresses easier to share.

Before publishing or sharing an Anwani code, address description, phone number, photo, or other information, make sure you are comfortable with the information being accessible to the people who receive the code or link.

Do not include passwords, financial information, identity-document numbers, or other highly sensitive information in address descriptions, notes, or photos.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Anwani, our services, or applicable requirements.

When we make material changes, we may provide an appropriate notice through the service or other available communication channels.

The latest version will always be available on the Anwani website.
