Safita Tower – Chastel Blanc

Safita Tower is a massive stone keep rising in the middle of Safita in Tartus Governorate on a hill above the surrounding mountains. Known historically as Chastel Blanc, it was the core of a Templar castle and holds a church on its ground floor that is still in use. Its height, wide views, and survival within the living town make it valued by castle and history visitors.

برج صافيتا برج حجري ضخم يرتفع وسط مدينة صافيتا بمحافظة طرطوس فوق تلة تشرف على الجبال المحيطة. عُرف تاريخياً بالحصن الأبيض وكان نواة قلعة لفرسان الداوية، ويضم في طابقه الأرضي كنيسة ما زالت تُستخدم. يمنحه ارتفاعه وإطلالته الواسعة وبقاؤه وسط المدينة قيمة خاصة لزوار القلاع والتاريخ.
