The Temple of Baalshamin is a major monument in Palmyra, Homs Governorate, in the Syrian desert. Dedicated to the Canaanite sky god Baalshamin, its building phases reach the late second century BCE with major Roman rebuilding. Its place within the Palmyra site and its religious architecture make it valued by visitors of ancient history.
معبد بعل شمين معلم أثري بارز يقع في مدينة تدمر ضمن محافظة حمص وسط البادية السورية. كُرّس لإله السماء الكنعاني بعل شمين، وتعود مراحل بنائه إلى أواخر القرن الثاني قبل الميلاد مع إعادة بناء واسعة في العهد الروماني. يمنح موقعه داخل موقع تدمر الأثري وطابعه المعماري والديني قيمة خاصة لعشاق التاريخ والآثار والحضارات القديمة.
